BIM, VDC & SHOP DRAWINGS EVERY TRADE
Think of us as your drafting department. We handle the technical work between a plan and a build.
Think of us as your drafting department. We handle the technical work between a plan and a build — 3D modeling, BIM coordination and clash detection, and fabrication-ready shop drawings across every discipline: mechanical/HVAC ductwork, process and mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection with hydraulic calculations.
When a job calls for it, we back the drawings with a rapid on-site 3D scan to verify existing conditions. You send the plans; you get coordinated models and drawings your shop and field crews can build from — on schedule, with fewer surprises. Nationwide drawing service based in New Jersey, with 3D scanning and site visits in NJ and NYC, delivered on standardized VDClab templates.
First area field-ready in 10 business days · Quote in 1–2 business days · LOD 400 fab-ready model.
Led by a licensed P.E. in NJ, NY and FL.
If the drawings aren’t approved, we keep fixing them at no charge until they are — and if it’s still not right, you get your money back.
US-based project manager on every job · 50+ person production team · NJ-based MEP engineering firm, PE-licensed in NJ, NY, FL

How we work to spec
Standards & technical scope, by trade
Each discipline page carries the standards, connection types and process steps that trade works to. This is the index.
HVAC and ductwork
SMACNA construction standards, seal and pressure classes, NFPA 90A. See the ductwork scope.
Process and mechanical piping
ASME B31.1, B31.3 and B31.9, ANSI and AWWA where applicable, B16.5 and B16.9 fittings, ASTM material specs. See the piping scope.
Plumbing
IPC or UPC with local amendments, fixture units and sizing, ASME A112 and ASSE. See the plumbing scope.
Electrical
NEC, NFPA 70 fill calculations, NEMA ratings, panel schedules and equipment clearances. See the electrical scope.
Fire protection
NFPA 13 and NFPA 14, hazard classification, hydraulic calculations and K-factors. See the fire protection scope.
BIM and coordination
Revit and Navisworks, LOD 350 and 400, clash matrices and BIM execution plans. See the coordination scope.
Why it matters
Why a dedicated VDC team matters
When you want to fabricate once and install clean, coordination has to happen in the model — not on the jobsite. A dedicated BIM/VDC team models every trade together, catches clashes early, and hands your shop drawings that match what gets installed.
One model, every discipline, fewer RFIs, fewer change orders, and a schedule that holds.
Process
How we work
01
Share your plans
Send drawings, a model, or a markup and we’ll tell you what we need. Need existing conditions? We can 3D scan and verify the site first.
02
We model & coordinate
Build the model, run clash detection across all trades, resolve conflicts.
03
You get fabrication-ready drawings
Spool sheets, duct drawings, plumbing/electrical/FP sets and coordination drawings, all on VDClab templates.
04
Build with confidence
Signed-off coordination and drawings your crew can build straight from.
